These are a few tips to assist in making your in session syncing go smoothly:
ACCEPTED MEDIA: - DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, SD, Compact Flash, XD, MS, Mac or PC formatted hard drive (FAT16 not supported)
FILE FORMAT: - Broadcast Wave with either .wav or .bwf extension - OMF 2.0 or AAF (minimum handles 300 ms; limit 2 Gb for imbedded audio) - All digital transfers assume SMPTE RP 155 calibration; notify if EBU R66
TIME CODE MODE: - Free Run or Record Run mode. Please specify the mode used.
SAMPLE RATES: - 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz (all pull up/down rates accepted)
TIME CODE RATES: (progressive or interlaced) - 30ndf, 29.97ndf/df, 23.976, 24, 50, 60
NON-LINEARLINER RECORDERS SUPPORTED: - Fostex PD-6, FR-2, DV-40, DV-824 - Sound Devices 744t, 722, 702t - HHB PortaDrive Or any recorder creating broadcast wav or wav audio files
LABELING MEDIA Please label each piece of audio media with: - Client Name - Project Name - Date of recording - disc/tape number
SOUND REPORTS SHOULD INCLUDE: - Client Name - Project Name - Date of recording - Disc/tape number - Reference level if analog (-20db or -12db) - Sound Mixers name and contact info - Normal take notes as required |
